Hi Chris, Thanks for the feedback, it’s most appreciated and very helpful. FYI, loving the course so far, I’m new to the fire industry so except for the WHS module (I’ve come from manufacturing) it’s all pretty new to me and very valuable for my job.

The FIA team were very professional and quick to respond. After I submitted an enquiry form to ask about FPAS training, Beau contacted me by phone to discuss my needs. He explained that there were several options available to me, and let me know what I needed to consider in regards to my long term career needs. After we discussed my needs, he followed up with a detailed email that explained my choices and how the Academy could help me with a Recognition of Prior Learning application.

I enrolled in the Fire Systems Design diploma to achieve accreditation as a Fire Safety Assessor under FPAS. The course is fantastic, very thorough and enjoyable. There are parts that challenged me and made me think, but I really enjoyed this aspect as I didn’t want to do a “tick and flick” course, I really wanted to learn. After speaking with colleagues who did training with other providers, I’m really glad I chose FIA as their training is top notch and their support is excellent. I really recommend you give them a go.

I contacted Tim to seek help with one of the assessments. Tim provided some great advice, and it was really evident that this guy knows his stuff. He not only helped me with the assessment, but he shared some of his wisdom that only comes with many years of industry experience. FIA are really lucky to have Tim working for them.

Amazing Support! I needed some help as my login to access the learner portal had expired. I had blocked out some time over the weekend to get stuck into my courses but hit a hurdle. I sent a message at 6.10 pm on a Saturday evening, hoping to get a reply on Monday, but they replied and fixed my issue straight away. I’m used to others not responded to emails for weeks. I never expected that level of customer service, on a Saturday - it was amazing.

Thanks for your response and help. I have been enjoying the course content and I am looking forward to getting back into it when back from leave. The course covers some really good subjects and goes into a lot of depth. It explains concepts really well and the exercises help to make sure I can apply the learning and gives me confidence.

We wanted to say a big thank you to your team for assisting us with some face to face training for our technicians here in Wagga Wagga, and especially to Beau Hannan.
