Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is a review of prior practical or educational experience. It enables a participant to bypass the learning process and go directly to the assessment process.
RPL involves the assessment of previously unrecognised skills and knowledge an individual has achieved outside of formal education and training.
RPL is an assessment process that assesses the individual’s non-formal and informal learning to determine the extent to which the individual has achieved the required learning outcomes or competency
